This milestone was reached last 9 September 2017, and as of today, the game reached a peak of 1,063,952 players. DOTA 2 now sits on second place with more than 600,000 players.

In terms of all-time concurrent player count, DOTA 2 still bags the crown with 1,295,114 players, as reported by SteamDB. This is the highest ever recorded number of concurrent players. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, on the other hand, is slowly reaching the top with 1,111,155.

With the game still in Early Access, these numbers do really mean something. The game has also maintained its number one spot as the Top Game on our website as well. There’s really no stopping PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds’ popularity.

In other related news, the game will be receiving an update which includes a new weapon, and a foggy weather condition.
