EA Sports PGA Tour is a golf video game and the exclusive home to the four major championships: the Masters Tournament, the PGA Championship, the U.S. Open Championship, and The Open Championship. It features real-world courses, as well as fantasy courses.

The game uses a new gameplay mechanic called Pure Strike which is powered by ShotLink and TrackMan data. Pure Strike is designed to provide a more realistic and satisfying golf experience. The game also features a number of different game modes including career mode, online multiplayer, and local multiplayer.

EA Sports PGA Tour was released on April 7, 2023 for PC, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

EA Play members no longer have to be limited with the 10-hour free trial as EA Sports PGA Tour is now officially on EA Play Playlist!

That means, Game Pass PC and Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can also play the game for free starting April 4, 2024. This is the third game to be added into Game Pass today, with the other two being Turbo Golf Racing 1.0 release and Lego 2K Drive.

This latest update includes the release of four new courses (Valhalla Golf Course, Pinehurst No. 2, Royal Troon, and Augusta National Par 3 Course), and the ability to play as pro golfer, Jack Nicklaus.
