Square Glade Games have revealed their next game, Outbound, the open-world survival crafting game that encourages you to build a home on wheels and live sustainably off-grid while exploring nature.
Outbound is an open-world exploration game in which you begin with an empty camper van and turn it into the home of your dreams. With your mobile home, you’ll learn to live and appreciate the land, sourcing energy from the sun, wind, or water, building new modules for your van, customizing the interior, growing food in gardens, crafting tools, and exploring the land where you’ll find resources and various secrets.
The game lends ideas from others in the genre like Stardew Valley and House Flipper, but what sets it apart is that you take your base with you on your journey through the world. Visually, it reminds me of Overcooked! It all makes me think we can expect a cute and relaxing game that lets us explore and progress at our own pace.
Square Glade Games has not announced an official release date for Outbound yet, but there is a Kickstarter project due to start which you can follow here.
