Omega Crafter’s Latest Trailer: A Glimpse Into the Future of Crafting Games

What new features does Omega Crafter introduce to crafting games

Upcoming open-world survival crafting game Omega Crafter has a new trailer ahead of its release this coming March, and it looks to build on the successful and viral launches of Palworld and Enshrouded on Steam.

Set in an under-developed game world, your adventure will include exploration, building cities, crafting weapons, resource management, and defeating powerful enemies. Everything you’d expect from a survival crafting game. But Omega Crafter also features sidekicks called “Grammis.”

Your Grammi is a programmable helper that you can tune to do tasks such as logging, mining, and transporting resources. Removing some of the workload off your shoulders.

With your Grammi and friends in online co-op, you’ll travel through different locations, explore the procedurally generated world, and hopefully stop the monsters that are mysteriously appearing and preventing the game’s completion.

Omega Crafter will follow the incredibly successful launch of Palworld, the Pokémon-like survival game that launched in mid-January. The games have a few similarities, including similar-looking graphics, survival and crafting elements, and the use of Pals or Grammys. But what sets Omega Crafter apart is that you can program your Grammi, enabling you to focus on multiple tasks at once.

Omega Crafter may not break new ground in the open-world survival crafting genre, but this year, there is a theme in what players are looking for. Omega Crafter fits in that space, will continue the genre’s momentum, and could even force future games to consider implementing some of its mechanics.
