Update April 17 – The second batch of games leaving Xbox Game Pass has been revealed. And like how massive the new game lineup is, the set leaving this month is big too. Nine games are departing the library on April 30, making it a total of 14 games which exited this month.
Original publication – The “Leaving Soon” section on Xbox Game Pass has been updated ahead of the official Wave 1 announcement and April 2026 is already bringing a packed send-off. The first batch alone features six titles exiting the service on April 15 with one major title leading the charge and a couple of standout experiences that are definitely worth a look before they’re gone.
Games Leaving Game Pass April 2026
The biggest name on the chopping block is undeniably Grand Theft Auto V. At this point though, fans are used to seeing the game come and go in the service. It’s arguably one of the most frequently cycled titles on Game Pass. But still, every time it shows up on the “Leaving Soon” list, it creates a sense of urgency.
Outside of Los Santos, this is still a massive list of genuinely great titles. Losing Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is a tough pill to swallow. It is an incredible JRPG but it demands a heavy time commitment. If you are currently playing through it, you will need to put in some serious hours to reach the credits before the 15th. Ashen and Terra Invicta are also great experiences that will be deeply missed by soulslike and strategy fans.
On the flip side, if you are an achievement hunter looking to grab some quick Gamerscore before time runs out, My Little Pony: A Zephyr Heights Mystery is the easy choice here. You can knock out the full completion in just a few short hours.
