Keeper is the new adventure and puzzle title from the team at Double Fine Productions and published by Xbox Games Studios. A new fantastic adventure from the famous San Francisco-based team founded in 2000. They’re behind some of the most beloved titles ever, including the famous Psychonauts series, Brütal Legend, and Broken Age.
Not to mention the celebrated Remasters of classic LucasArts titles like Grim Fandango, Full Throttle, and Day of the Tentacle. Following Keeper’s surprise announcement in the Xbox Game Showcase lineup in June 2025, we have an awesome surprise. Just about a month before the launch of Double Fine Production’s new adventure, here comes a fantastic Deep Dive. Straight from the Official Xbox Podcast on September 18, 2025. Remember, the game will debut on October 17, 2025 on Xbox Series X/S and PC.

With an exclusive interview with Directors Lee Petty (Creative), Camden Stoddard (Audio), and Asif Siddiky (Senior Level Designer) behind Keeper. They share interesting details on the game world, the story’s approach, and the sound design of the experience.
Keeper: The Most Interesting News and Details from the Deep Dive
Keeper is a third-person puzzle adventure. It’s a bizarre story starring Twig, a lost seabird, and an animated Lighthouse. You’ll explore a strange world, forging an unlikely friendship in a world struck by the ruin of The Wither. You’ll use the Lighthouse’s properties and Twig’s abilities to solve various puzzles.
All with an intuitive and immersive approach, without words or instructions. It has a strong visual artistic side, but also an auditory one. With a living world that “speaks to us” through its sound, given the lack of dialogue. The duo’s dynamic is strangely inspired by the illusionist duo Penn & Teller. In an adventure the team describes as “Weird but Chill“.
