Ichigo Kurosaki will join Fortnite in the rumored Fortnite x Bleach collaboration

The “Big Three” of anime is inching closer to being fully represented in Fortnite. After years of requests, rumors, and waiting, it looks like Bleach is finally making its way to the Island during Chapter 7. If you have been saving your V-Bucks for Ichigo, it sounds like your patience is about to pay off.

 

Bleach Coming in Chapter 7 Season 1

The leak comes directly from HYPEX, a source with a nearly flawless track record for Fortnite news. While Epic Games hasn’t dropped an official trailer yet, the leaker claims this collaboration is slated for the current season, Chapter 7 Season 1.

Since the current season is expected to wrap up in early March, we likely won’t have to wait long.

Honestly, this feels like it’s arriving at the perfect time. With the recent launch of Chapter 7 and its Hollywood-inspired map, adding a visually distinct style like Bleach keeps the momentum going strong.

 

Fortnite x Bleach: Skin Predictions

While the leak didn’t specify the exact lineup, we can make some educated guesses based on previous anime drops like Dragon Ball Super and Naruto. In my opinion, Epic rarely misses with the initial wave of anime skins.

Here is who I think needs to be in the Bundle:

  • Ichigo Kurosaki: Obviously. We need a Bankai edit style.
  • Rukia Kuchiki: A staple of the series and perfect for the game’s hitbox style.
  • Kisuke Urahara: His hat and vibe fit Fortnite perfectly.
  • Byakuya Kuchiki: Imagine a Senbonzakura glider or emote.

Even if we don’t get the entire cast immediately, Epic loves to do “Wave 2” drops for popular series. Just look at how many My Hero Academia waves we’ve had recently.

 

Zanpakuto Mythics and Gameplay

The best collaborations aren’t just skins; they change the gameplay. We’ve seen the Kamehameha dominate the meta and the Smash form from My Hero Academia wreck builds.

It is highly likely we could see Zanpakuto Mythics added to the loot pool. Imagine using a Getsuga Tensho to level a building or using a Flash Step (Shunpo) item for mobility similar to the Nimbus Cloud.

 

The Future of Anime in Fortnite

This leak also reignites hope for other major franchises. There are already whispers about a Dragon Ball Daima crossover, and the community is still begging for One Piece to complete the trinity.

For now, though, Bleach fans have a massive win on the horizon.
