THE DIVISION 2 COUNTDOWN GAME MODE

Ubisoft announces Countdown is now available to play in The Division 2 on the game’s Public Test Server (PTS).

Ubisoft has stayed quiet on the new game mode but has now released it on the PTS.

Countdown is a team-based endgame mode for up to eight players with two groups of four agents deployed to protect a power plant.

After stabilizing the plant, the agents are attacked by heavily armed hostels who will try to  overrun the power plant and take it for themselves.

Be warned, though,as the balance doesn’t change, so anything less than eight players will be a tough challenge.

Another feature available in the PTS is the Expertise system which improves the performance of weapons, gear sets, and skills.

The Division 2 PTS Phases:

• PTS 1: Countdown and Expertise
• PTS 2: New gear and balance tweaks
• PTS 3: Bug fixes following phases 1 and 2

The PTS is live now and the download size is 72 GB.
