Hollow Knight: Silksong Reveal – Listed & Rated on Microsoft Store

Just in these last days there seems to be movements regarding Silksong, the Standalone chapter of Hollow Knight, a new adventure awaited by many fans of Team Cherry’s indie game. Considered by many as one of the most important indies of the last decade, it has become an icon for the Metroidvania genre, with many imitators and even clones.

News on Hollow Knight Silksong: The Rating and Microsoft

A rather particular fact is that just in these days two pieces of information have emerged about the highly anticipated Silksong. On one hand, we have the official game page on the Microsoft store, recently noticed by some users. This not only seems to confirm progress and an imminent launch of the title, but also some further news about it. In fact, from the official page dedicated since last year to Hollow Knight: Silksong, the adventure concerning the princess and protector Hornet, we know that it will also be available at launch on Xbox Game Pass and it seems to aim for 4K at 60fps on Xbox Series X.

Thanks to the appearance of this page, some users have investigated thoroughly and found confirmation of Silksong in South Korea. In fact, visiting the Korean website of the Game Rating & Administration Committee and searching for “Hollow” brings up a mention dated 20 February 2024, of Hollow Knight: Silksong. With confirmation of the rating in February also from the ESRB and USK.

Will Hollow Knight Silksong arrive in 2024?

Still a dead silence from Team Cherry, which doesn’t seem to want to spoil the release date or any small news about the development of Silksong in any way. We have already reached 5 years since the first announcement of this new adventure dedicated to Hornet. Although these small news, especially those about the rating, suggest imminent news about the new adventure branded Hollow Knight. An adventure that should be available on PC and on all major consoles, including Nintendo Switch and PS5 as well as most likely PS4 and Xbox One alongside the already confirmed Series X/S. In short, it would certainly be the perfect time to replay or play for the first time the multi-award-winning and acclaimed Hollow Knight.
