This style mimics the way children perceive the world, using ghosts to foster magic that is intentionally unsettling without being horrifying.

Barone is currently balancing two major projects, though Haunted Chocolatier has officially taken the lead in his weekly schedule.
He dedicates five days to the new title and two days to the anticipated 1.7 update for Stardew Valley, which is expected to introduce new romance options.
The developer admitted that managing both projects alongside administrative tasks is a significant challenge requiring high efficiency.
To maximize his output, he is shifting into a “creative director” role for Stardew Valley to ensure Haunted Chocolatier receives his primary focus.
