God of War Ragnarok has a day one update, and it’s huge.

HUGE GOD OF WAR RAGNAROK DAY ONE PATCH

God of War Ragnarok releases next month, and Sony is already planning a huge day-one update.

Revealing the God of War Ragnarok Update 1.01 on Twitter, PlayStation Game Size says the day one update is 18.4 GB in size.

The update is for PS4 and will mean the full game is almost 91 GB, whereas the original God of War was roughly 45 GB.

We don’t know what’s inside 1.01, but we expect it to include last-minute bug fixes, gameplay balance tweaks, and improved stability.

You can pre-load God of War Ragnarok on PS4 and PS5 on November 2 ahead of the game’s release on November 8.
