Get Ready for DOOM! System Requirements and Launch Times Announced

The countdown begins as Bethesda is all geared up for the release of DOOM on Friday, May 13, 2016. Kicking things off, Bethesda released a new launch trailer which includes awesome gameplay footage. Watch it below:

Bethesda has also announced the game’s launch times come May 13th as well as the System Requirements for the PC.

PC System Requirements

Minimum:

  • Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit versions); Intel Core i5-2400/AMD FX-8320 or better;
  • 8 GB RAM; 55 GB free HDD space; NVIDIA GTX 670 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or better
  • Contains a single disc. Download of additional files from Steam (total amount 45 GB) is required to run the game.
  • Requires Steam activation and broadband internet connection for Multiplayer and SnapMap.

  • Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit versions); Intel Core i7-3770/AMD FX-8350 or better;
  • 8 GB RAM; 55 GB free HDD space; NVIDIA GTX 970 4GB/AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB or better
  • Contains a single disc. Download of additional files from Steam (total amount 45 GB) is required to run the game.
  • Requires Steam activation and broadband internet connection for Multiplayer and SnapMap.
Information on the game’s supported AMD and NVIDIA drivers will be announced next week in the official Bethesda blog.

DOOM can be preloaded on Steam beginning on May 11, 2016 at 12:00 AM ET, and on the Playstation Store on 12 am ET (North America)/ 12 am local time (rest of world). It is already available for preloading on the Xbox One (for digital purchases). PC Launch Times and Locations:

  • North America @ 12 am ET
  • Europe @ 12 am GMT +1
  • Japan/South Korea/Rest of Asia – 12 am Japan
