Full Metal Schoolgirl, the new third-person shooter from the creators of Onechanbara, shows off its new trailer!

Full Metal Schoolgirl (FMS) is the new third-person shooter title from Yuke. A Japanese development team from Osaka, primarily known for the WWE game series. But they also worked on some spin-off chapters of the Earth Defense Force series, published by D3.

This time, they’re bringing a colorful and chaotic sci-fi TPS where we’ll follow two cyborg schoolgirls in the year 2089. Their goal is to fight their way through the buildings of Meternal Jobz to end the CEO’s reign of exploitation. Full Metal Schoolgirl: New Trailer Reveals Gameplay and Story

Following the official announcement on 1 July 2025, the team at Yuke and D3 Publisher are sharing new details about Full Metal Schoolgirl. The fast-paced sci-fi third-person shooter with a strong anime and parody vibe. They’ve dropped the new Second Trailer, packed with fresh details.

This time it’s narrated by Yahooman Ippongi, one of the mobs and an employee of Meternel Jobz. It gives an overview of the story, where the protagonists Akemi and Ryoko storm the buildings causing chaos. It shows off the abilities of the two cyborg schoolgirls, obstacles, and the elite employees/bosses you have to face. All with a heavy dose of humor.

 

Full Metal Schoolgirl: What’s New in the Latest Trailer

The new trailer brings some interesting new details. Depending on which protagonist you choose, the other will be captured, and your goal will be to rescue her. It also showcases the melee and ranged weapons, relying on the Minigun and the Chainsaw. You’ll face many obstacles, traps, and especially the elite members of Meternel, such as:

  • Tomoyo Hidarigyakujuji: Endroid Sales Chief voiced in English by Soness Stevens
  • Tenjiro Iida: SBZ Production Factory Chief voiced in English by Daniel Duncan
  • CEO Kyohei Fukoku voiced in English by Douglas Kirkpatrick

Each one with puns and wordplay in their names. You’ll be earning EXP, finding new items, and making money. You’ll spend it on various upgrades to unlock through Professor Hakase. It also re-confirms that various costumes will be available as DLC or in the Deluxe edition, like the outfits from OneeChanbara Origin.
