LarpVenture, a not-for-profit live-action roleplay (LARP) production studio, has announced Frostpunk: The Last Recon, an epic LARP adventure coming to Poland on February 12-15, 2026. The event promises a unique experience inspired by 11 bit studios’ society survival game.
Frostpunk fans and LARPers can prepare for the Frotpunk-inspired event, which will take place February 12-15, and offer a chance to experience a real-life psychological survival horror story as part of the Prometheus Expedition.
Officially supported by developer 11 bit studios, the event is taking place in Poland and is designed for 40-50 players. Anyone wishing to take part is encouraged to purchase their ticket for €415 -€490 from the official site.
What to Expect at The Last Recon
Set in Fort II Nysa, Poland, the upcoming Frostpunk: The Last Recon LARP event will offer a “gritty, immersive, high-emotion, and narrative-rich experience. As part of the Prometheus Expedition, players are tasked with”finding signs of life in a distant, smoke-shadowed region.”
Cut off from the rest of the world and trapped within a blizzard, players will be forced to “chop wood to feed the stove, scavenge for supplies, cook real food over open flames – and then decide who eats.”
The organizer, LarpVenture, emphasizes that there will be no audience and that every participant will be involved in the unfolding story. As tensions rise, discussions will take place, and players will face moral dilemmas that force them to make tough decisions.
Will you drag your injured teammates to safety, enter the ruins with your oil lamp, stand up for the weak, and help the dying even though your fingers are numb? Or will you sacrifice your own humanity to ensure your survival?
How to Participate
Those wishing to take part in the unique LARP experience can purchase a ticket from the LarpVenture site today. Early bird prices are €415, otherwise they are €490. There are only a maximum of 50 places, so you must be quick to secure your spot with a cut-off date set as November 4.
Once they buy a ticket, players are assigned a character, costume guide, and practical info. The event begins on Thursday, February 12, 2026, with players told to arrive at Fort II Nysa by 5 PM.
