Far Cry 6 – Season Pass and Post-Launch Content Announced
Far Cry 6 launches October 7, 2021, and Ubisoft has just released details on the game’s season pass, DLC, and post-launch content.

FAR CRY 6 POST-LAUNCH ROADMAP
Ahead of Far Cry 6’s launch next month, Ubisoft has laid out the game’s post-launch roadmap which includes villains of previous games in the series, in-game items, and crossover missions.
DLC EPISODES
If you’ve played any of the previous Far Cry games, you will know that the franchise’s villains are considered some of the most memorable and iconic in gaming.
If you are new to the series, don’t worry, you can learn about three of Far Cry’s best villains as you dive into their minds across three DLC episodes.
DLC Episodes:
Episode 1: Vaas: Insanity (November 2021)
Vaas Montenegro is widely considered the best Far Cry villain and is the arch-enemy of Jason Brody.
Appearing in Far Cry 3, he leads a group of pirates on the Rook Islands and shows little remorse for his reckless, violent, and sadistic nature as he orders the capture, torture, and murder of those they encounter.
His Insanity monologue is thought to be one of the greatest moments in Far Cry and begins with, “Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is?”
Episode 2: Pagan: Control (January 2022)
Pagan Min inherits his father’s drug cartel and quickly decides to build an army capable of meeting his ambitions.
As the main antagonist of Far Cry 4, he allies with the Royalists and uses them to fight against the Nationalists as they attempt to take the Royal Palace and crown a new ruler.
Min has different plans, however, and his betrayal leads to a second civil war for Kyrati.
Episode 3: Joseph: Collapse (March 2022)
Joseph Seed is a megalomaniac and is leader of the extremist religious group Project at Eden’s Gate.
In Far Cry 5, Joseph and his siblings, Jacob, John, and Faith, use a mixture of fear, drugs, and violence to convert and brainwash members to their terrorist cult.
Joseph believes God has chosen him to lead Eden Gate and prepare them for the imminent apocalypse coming to Hope County.
FAR CRY 3 BLOOD DRAGON
All Season Pass owners will receive Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon. PC owners receive the original 2013 game, and console players get the Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Classic Edition, remastered for current-gen consoles.
The Season Pass also comes with the Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon Set, which includes seven in-game items for Far Cry 6.

- x1 Vehicle (Omega Enforcer)

CROSSOVER MISSIONS
Far Cry 6 will not end with the completion of the campaign, as Ubisoft promises weekly additional free content starting immediately after the game’s launch.
Weekly Insurgencies will see the supporters of Antón Castillo wreak havoc across Yara, with your task to eliminate them to earn exclusive gear.
The game will also release three crossover missions that feature Danny Trejo, Rambo, and Stranger Things.
There are also six Special Operations releasing, with two available at launch and the other four available later.
These special missions offer new gameplay mechanics and unique locations as you attempt to take on arms dealers and prevent them from getting their hands on unstable chemical weapons.
