Sometimes the old ways are the best ways. Pearl Abyss just dropped patch 1.02.00 of Crimson Desert across all platforms. And the standout feature is a direct response to player feedback regarding movement.

According to the official patch notes, you can now swap back to the original movement mechanics. Head into your settings and toggle between “Basic” and “Classic” movement controls.

If you run the Basic setup, holding the sprint key drains stamina at set intervals. Swap to Classic, and you’ll consume stamina only when actively pressing the sprint key—giving you granular control over your mount’s energy.


Greymane Camp Storage Gets a Huge Buff

Hit the final camp expansion tier, and you are rewarded with a massive 360-slot bump. That brings your total private storage to an incredible 1,000 slots.
