FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time (FLi) is the new chapter in the Level-5 series. This second title in the RPG and life sim series drops over 10 years after the 3DS game. Plus, it’s the series’ debut as a multi-platform game on Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo, and PC on 21 May 2025.

It’s been a huge hit, with tons of fans hyped about the new features, especially the ability to explore the Ginormosia continent in co-op with friends. Fantasy Life i – Hits New 1.2 Million Copies Sold Milestone

As July 2025 kicks off, Level-5 announced a new milestone for FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time. The announcement came on 8 July, about 3 weeks after the first Million announcement, confirming the new record of 1.2 Million copies sold. This number was also reached thanks to the launch of Nintendo Switch 2 on 5 June.

The team is celebrating by thanking the community again, dropping a new illustration featuring a band of Leafes and confirming that new updates and features are on the way. Also reminded us about the highly anticipated free DLC, Update the World! which will offer a roguelike-style open world mode.

 

Fantasy Life i: Latest Upcoming News & Updates

As mentioned in the new milestone announcement, the Level-5 team confirmed ongoing support for the title, with new features and additions coming to FLi. The recent announcement also confirmed the arrival of Photo Mode, expected to launch in July 2025.

It’ll offer various poses, filter settings, the option to hide your friends, and adjust the camera view. Meanwhile, on 2 July, we saw the debut of the new Patch 1.4 for the game, bringing a series of fixes and balances. But it also added new content like new Area Challenges, Armor, Items, and Recipes, plus 11 new adorable furnishings.
