Initially teased in 2023, The God Slayer has just resurfaced in spectacular fashion. Studio Pathea Games, famous for peaceful life sims like My Time at Portia, is completely changing its tune.
Here, the pastoral atmosphere gives way to a high-tension megalopolis. The universe blends a steampunk art direction with strong Eastern inspiration.

Story: Cheng’s Revenge Against the Celestials
In The God Slayer, you play as Cheng, an “Elemancer” consumed by rage. Your goal is clear: break the yoke of the Celestials. These deities keep the population under control through their powers.
Far from being benevolent, these Celestials build their immortality by stealing human souls via their Qi. After the massacre of his family during “The Divine Sanction,” Cheng joins the resistance.
He is supported by the Falling Star Society. This underground movement hopes to overthrow this ancient order thanks to your growing mastery of forbidden arts.
Mastery of Elements and Dynamic Gameplay
The heart of the game lies in the interaction between the five elements: fire, water, earth, metal, and wood. As shown in the first clips, the combat system looks particularly creative.
