You will definitely fall in love with Fallout 4’s Dogmeat, the trustworthy canine companion who is also one of the 12 characters that can accompany the player throughout the course of the game.

Believe it or not, the character Dogmeat is based on a real dog, a German Shepherd named River, owned by Joel Burgess, Bethesda’s level designer. The realness of the character Dogmeat is amazing as River performed for the video and audio capture to make a digital version of him. Having Dogmeat as companion is like having a real dog in-game! It has also been announced that Dogmeat will not die as you go through the game’s story, so feel free to love him all you want!

Fallout 4, Bethesda’s newest game, is the 5th installment in the Fallout series. If you have been following Fallout all the way, you will definitely love this game. And if you are new to the series, you will be looking to play the previous games prior to Fallout 4! An action and role-playing video game, Fallout 4 is due to be released on November 10, 2015 and will be available on PC through Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Meanwhile, Bethesda has recently announced through a blog post about their plans after launching the game, giving fans a peek on what to expect from them. The post highlighted that the developers are set to release free regular updates, mods and Creation Kits, and a Season Pass. Fans of the franchise should expect these plans to take effect by early 2016, especially the all-new Creation Kit which allows players to create mods and share them with others. The Creation Kit is also planned to be released for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
