Wonder Boy is a famous adventure platformer saga from the eponymous series born in 1986. Dragon’s Trap is the remake of the third installment of the series released in 1989 published by Sega for their Sega Master System. With this remake released in 2017 for all platforms and of course also on the Nintendo Switch, which is one of the most convenient versions to play due to the portability factor of the Nintendo console.
Developed by Lizardcube, this remake brings brand new sprites redone from scratch and a pastel-colored palette. All accompanied by a reimagining of the original title’s soundtrack, in chiptune, with real instruments. A return of a great classic that has been quite successful and runs wonderfully on the Nintendo Switch, especially with the OLED version thanks to vibrant colors. Not to mention its unique humor suitable for all.
