Xbox Game Pass concentrates half of its October Wave 2 additions into a single day, led by Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and day-one arrivals.

Xbox Game Pass October 2026 Joining Titles Wave 2
Key Takeaways
  • Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade headlines the second wave of Xbox Game Pass additions for late October.
  • A major four-game drop lands on October 29, featuring day-one releases and an EA Play addition with Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted.
  • The announcement includes eight titles across different tiers, kicking off with Sandustry in Game Preview.

Microsoft has revealed the Xbox Game Pass October Wave 2 lineup, featuring eight titles across the service’s different tiers, although one of them, Pit of Goblin, won’t arrive until November.

It’s a much shorter list than the first wave and frankly, not quite as exciting, and definitely does not balance out the quality of games set to leave on October 31st. Still, we have Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade to look forward to on the 29th which is also quite a big day with a 4-game drop.

Xbox Game Pass October 2026 Joining Titles

The October wave 2 lineup kicks off today, October 21, with Sandustry, a factory-building and automation game currently available through Game Preview. The game first joined Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass in August, and its latest expansion brings it to Xbox Game Pass Premium. Since it remains in Early Access, players can expect development to continue as the game evolves.

This month also brings another EA Play addition with Plants vs. Zombies Replanted, a tower defense strategy game that follows the high-profile arrival of Battlefield 6 on October 13. If memory serves me right, we haven’t had more than one addition via EA Play in the same month for the past few years.

While we normally get an “even” drop throughout the month, October’s wave 2 is dropping 4 of the 7 confirmed titles in a single day including this month’s headliner. On October 29, Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, which only made its Xbox debut earlier this year, leads a group of 4 to enter the service. This includes day-one Terrible Lizards, Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted, and Mouthwashing.

Another notable addition is The Seance of Blake Manor, a supernatural detective adventure game making its console debut on October 27. The game will be available across all three main Game Pass tiers.

Here is the complete wave 2 lineup for Xbox Game Pass October 2026.
