Update – Microsoft has announced the official Wave 1 lineup for January, featuring 11 games headlined by Resident Evil Village and Star Wars Outlaws. As of this writing, MIO: Memories in Orbit remains the only confirmed day-one launch for the first half of the month. But still, the lineup is a solid one.
Original publication – Xbox Game Pass wave 1 lineup for January 2026 won’t be out until later today but as of writing and apart from the two day-one launches previously announced, two more games are confirmed for this month. To make it even better, both titles have already joined the service ahead of the official announcement.
Xbox Game Pass January 2026 Joining Titles
We’re off to a slow start for 2026 but one thing we’ve learned from the past is never underestimate how Microsoft starts off a year. And since there’s an Xbox Developer Direct confirmed this month, we might just get a similar surprise like last year’s Ninja Gaiden 2 Black.
But before that (hopeful) surprise, another one (actually two) crept in earlier today. First reported by Xbox Era, Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition and Brews & Bastards have now joined Xbox Game Pass. Both titles appeared in the Recently Added to Game Pass section and are now available for Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass members.
In the same section, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is also shown but that was added in August via Ubisoft’s Classic Catalog. So that’s a bit odd. But with the official announcement getting released later, the Recently Added section will reflect a more accurate lineup.
Here are the titles currently confirmed to enter Xbox Game Pass for January 2026:

- Brews & Bastards – January 6 (Ultimate, PC, Premium)
- Atomfall – January 7 (Premium)
- Lost in Random: The Eternal Die – January 7 (Premium)
- Rematch – January 7 (Premium)
- Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine Master Crafted Edition – January 7 (Premium)
- Final Fantasy – January 8 (Ultimate, PC, Premium)
- Star Wars Outlaws – January 13 (Ultimate, PC)
- My Little Pony: A Zephyr Heights Mystery – January 15 (Ultimate, PC, Premium)
- MIO: Memories In Orbit – January 20 (Ultimate, PC)
- Resident Evil Village – January 20 (Ultimate, PC)

- Nova Roma *Game Preview – January 22 (Ultimate, PC)
