Towerborne has officially reached its full release. After launching in early access last year and growing through player feedback, the action RPG from Stoic is now live in version 1.0. The full launch arrives today, February 26, 2026, bringing the complete experience to Xbox, PC, and for the first time, PlayStation 5. Game Pass members can jump in immediately across console, PC, cloud, and handheld.
Towerborne 1.0 Available on Xbox Game Pass
Towerborne, developed by Stoic and published by Xbox Game Studios, has officially launched in full today, February 26, 2026. Alongside its 1.0 release, the game is now available on PlayStation 5, expanding beyond its original platforms.
Towerborne first launched in Early Access on PC in April 2025. At the same time, it was made available day one on Xbox Game Pass through the Game Preview program. That early version gave players access to core combat, progression systems, and cooperative play while the studio continued development.
With today’s 1.0 launch, the Game Pass version has been updated to the full release. Members across Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and the Premium tier now have access to the complete experience. This drop marks the final game to enter the service this month. Well, if there is no surprise addition that is.

Towerborne is a side-scrolling action RPG brawler where players rise as an Ace, an immortal warrior sworn to defend the Belfry from the dangers beyond its walls. Set in a world shaped by the fall of the City of Numbers, the game blends combo-based combat with modern RPG progression, allowing players to customize gear, experiment with combat styles, and grow stronger through every battle.
