Tales of Seikyu is the new life sim game in development by the team at ACE Entertainment, a Chinese development team from Zhejiang province, with an ambitious project in Seikyu. The project was announced on May 10, 2023 with the first teaser. Funded by a successful Kickstarter campaign in January 2024.
Confirming the release of the game for spring 2025. Offering a game that takes us into the magical world of Seikyu, a remote island inhabited by Yokai. Tales of Seikyu: Early Access Date Announced
The team at ACE Entertainment, in collaboration with publisher Fireshine Games, has finally announced the release date of Tales of Seikyu. A life sim adventure that takes us to a remote island inhabited by mysterious Yokai creatures. With an Early Access release on Steam set for May 21, 2025.
This announcement comes with the Official Trailer, which showcases the beauty and magic of the Seikyu island. Offering a life sim adventure themed around Yokai where we’ll meet various villagers, build strong relationships, and participate in activities like festivals and challenges.
Tales of Seikyu: Key Features and Latest News
Tales of Seikyu aims to be a life-sim adventure, bringing many of the most loved elements of the genre. A genre that has seen significant growth in recent years, offering an Eastern style inspired by Japanese folklore, particularly the figures of Yokai. Featuring:
- Life Sim Adventure: A life-sim adventure with classic farming experience, along with the ability to personalize your home. Set in the magical and mysterious island of Seikyu, inhabited by Yokai.
- Meet the Villagers: Many unique characters to meet and interact with, discovering their backstories, personalities, and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships.
- Use Yokai Powers: We’ll have various Yokai abilities that let us transform into animals, helping us explore, solve puzzles, and assist villagers while gathering resources.
- Plenty of Activities: There will be plenty of activities to do, including not just farming, fishing, cooking, and more, but also combat and community events like festivals and seasonal activities.
A launch is finally just around the corner. The team at ACE Entertainment has been working on the feedback received since the Steam Next Fest at the end of April 2025. They’ve also shared some of the game’s core features through guides and feature showcases.
