Persona 4 Golden enters Xbox Game Pass again. Now available in all tiers. Also today, Goat Simulator Remastered joins Standard’s library.
Microsoft is letting us wait for Persona 4 Revival in excitement as it brings Persona 4 Golden back into service. The game, considered one of the best JRPG of all time, returns to Xbox Game Pass on August 20, 2025.
Persona 4 Golden Is Back On Xbox Game Pass
Xbox Game Pass scores gold! Persona 4 Golden is now back into service, meaning PC, Ultimate, and Standard subscribers can now play the game for free again.
It’s been a long time coming. It left the service in January 2024 together with Persona 3 Portable when Game Pass was gearing up for the Persona 3 Reload launch. It was a sad farewell then, as for this particular stint, it only stayed on for a year. And with many great releases in 2024, many subscribers weren’t able to finish this lengthy game.
Fortunately, Microsoft is giving us another chance to do so. Many are trying to wait for Revival’s release, also confirmed for Game Pass, but can you really pass on this chance? Like any other Persona fan out there, this game is truly worth playing.
Alongside Persona 4 Golden’s return to Xbox Game Pass, today also marks Goat Simulator Remastered entry to the Standard tier. The game first made its way into the service as a day-one launch in November of last year. So finally for Standard tier members, it’s no longer only available to the higher tiers only.
