When is Quickplay Coming to Payday 3?

Starbreeze Studios has announced Quickplay is finally coming to Payday 3, alongside a Player Merging feature, as the developers look to improve the gameplay and multiplayer experience.

Announcing the features on Payday 3’s official site, Starbreeze reveal players will be able to “set the difficulty you’d prefer, then be put in a lobby that’s either underway or you’ll join an open lobby.” Starbreeze also hints that the feature may evolve over time, stating that the idea is just to get players into games they want quicker.

The second feature being introduced is Player Merging, which will allow players to merge teams at the end of a heist. Both features are an attempt by Starbreeze to improve the overall player experience after the game’s very rocky release and ongoing negative reviews.

Both features will go live in the next Payday 3 update, which will hopefully be soon. Players can expect an improved Quickplay and server browsing by the end of the year.
