It’s all hands on deck for Ninja Gaiden 4 ahead of its October 21st launch. Just days ago, Team Ninja and PlatinumGames thrilled fans with the reveal of the game’s first major DLC, set to arrive early next year. Now, they’ve added to the excitement by making the preload available now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Game Pass, and PC via the Microsoft Store.
But that’s not even the best part of today in regards to the game. As reported by multiple players who have started preloading, the file size came in surprisingly low, making fans both impressed and curious at the same time.

This was a great surprise because everyone was expecting a much much larger size considering the trend these days, plus Ninja Gaiden 4’s Steam page shows a 100GB storage requirement. While that figure is usually just an estimate, it’s rare for the actual file size to be nearly half of it. But hey, we’re not complaining!
Ninja Gaiden 4 is also set to release on Playstation 5 and PC via Steam on October 21st. Preload has not gone live yet for these platforms and so file size remains unknown.
