Nekuia Launches on Steam This December
“EXPLOSIVE, CHALLENGING, EXHILARATING!” This is what Nekuia, a 2D platforming game from Blue Gate, boasts. The game combines exploration, speedrunning, reflexes, and adventure in one.

You will play as a “soul” that is currently on a quest searching for “answers.” As you go on with your quest, you get to explore the world and at discover paths. The levels in the game are made of mazes, and you’ll scroll your way through the mazes’ paths in order to find new paths. The gameplay is quite simple: all you’ll need to do is jump fast, and jump right. The faster you jump, the stronger your become. But of course, this comes with increased risks, so you’ll have to be careful as well.
The game’s level design will also be to your advantage, so it’s best to use it. As you increase your skills, you’ll get to discover new paths that correspond to your speed.
The game can be played in solo mode, or you can opt to play with other players in the weekly exclusive ephemeral level.
Nekuia also features sound and graphical ambiances that evolve as your speed increases – the faster you are, the more intense the sound and graphics become. You’ll also face bosses that will push the gameplay to the limit, giving you a more challenging experience.
Nekuia will be released on Steam on 17 December 2017.
