Life is Strange 2 Stars 2 Brothers Escaping to Mexico

Dontnod has finally released the official reveal trailer for Life of Strange 2. Details about the sequel to their 2015 hit episodic adventure have been scarce up until now, but now the new trailer has given us a glimpse of the story of the next adventure.

The game will star brothers Sean and Daniel Diaz, 16 and 9 years of age respectively. Both are living normally in Seattle until a “tragic event” changes their lives forever. They’ll soon find themselves on the run from the police. Sean then makes the choice of making their way to their home town of Puerto Lobos, Mexico in hopes of starting anew.

Players will be taking on the role of the elder brother, Sean. On the way to Puerto Lobos, you’ll need to make tough decisions and live with their consequences. It seems that this will still be a coming of age story. The story will revolve around the relationship of the two brothers. Dontnod will also be bringing the game to this year’s Gamescom where fans can play the game’s opening scene. The devs have also mentioned that those who played the free prologue, The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, will find the finer details “falling into place.”

The first episode of Life is Strange 2 will launch on September 27th on PC, Xbox One and PS4. Those who pre-order will get an assortment of patches and a keyring that they can use to customize their in-game backpack.
