Another major gaming event has locked in its place on the 2025 calendar. Tokyo Game Show 2025 is officially back and set to take place at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba, Japan. Along with confirming the dates, the organizers have also released the lineup of exhibitors.

Gamers have an exciting season ahead. With Gamescom 2025 set for August 20–24 and now Tokyo Game Show 2025 confirmed for September 25–28, two of the world’s biggest conventions will take the stage within just weeks of each other. TGS promises to match that excitement with a stacked roster of exhibitors and experiences.
Some of the most recognized names in the industry are returning to the floor. Companies like PlayStation, Xbox, Sega, Square Enix, Capcom, Konami, EA, Riot Games, and Bandai Namco are all confirmed for this year’s show. With 772 exhibitors from 46 countries and regions, and more than 4,000 booths, this is officially the largest Tokyo Game Show ever held.
This year’s theme, “Unlimited, Neverending Playgrounds”, perfectly matches the scale and ambition of the event. The show floor will be divided into multiple themed areas to help guide the experience including zones focused on AR/VR, indie games, gaming hardware, lifestyle products, family gaming, and more. Of course, there’s the general exhibition area where most booths will be at.
While the current list of exhibitors is already massive, organizers have stated that it’s not final. So with even more additions possible in the coming weeks, there’s a chance that the lineup will grow even larger.
Tickets are now available for those planning to attend in person. For those who won’t be making the trip to Japan this fall, the official Tokyo Game Show 2025 movie has been released, offering a cinematic glimpse into what’s coming and setting the tone for an unforgettable show.
