Ferocious is the new survival shooter from the team at OMYOG. A German development team from Cologne with a project first revealed on December 3, 2020, for Twitter’s PitchYaGame. The first gameplay reveal happened in 2023, and it was also one of the stars of the IGN Summer 2024 on July 2, followed by the Playtest. It’s the debut title published in collaboration with tinyBuild, taking us to a mysterious island.
Playing as San, you’ll have to explore the island in search of your brother, Maung, after the two were shipwrecked by a monster attack. You’ll soon discover an island inhabited by dinosaurs, but also by mercenaries from the Manifesto organization. Following the final playtest in June and the Demo release, the team at OMYOG and tinyBuild are bringing more news on Ferocious, the first-person survival shooter from OMYOG. On July 24, 2025, they dropped the brand-new Story Trailer that takes us to this mysterious island.
Revealing the story of this jurassic survival adventure. Playing as San, you’ll find yourself lost on a mysterious tropical island that you’ll soon discover is inhabited by Dinosaurs. Your goal is to save your brother, Maung. You’ll use weapons, crafting, and even dinosaurs to take on the military forces of the Manifesto corporation occupying the island.
Ferocious: What We Know and the Latest News
OMYOG’s debut title is shaping up to be an action-packed survival adventure. A shooter where you’ll use a vast arsenal of firearms. But you’ll also get to drive vehicles and Mechs. It offers:
- Survival Adventure: You’ll find yourself on a mysterious and dangerous island. Inhabited not just by dinosaurs, but also by armed military forces. An action-packed first-person survival shooter with limited resources.
- Exploration and Crafting: By exploring the island, you can discover secret passages leading to valuable gear or components. You can use these to craft or upgrade your weapons.
With the Demo released during the Steam Next Fest, the game has seen over 300,000 Wishlists on Steam and over 127,000 Downloads. The team has also announced their participation in the Games Forged in Germany showcase from July 24 to 31, 2025, where they just revealed the recent Story Trailer.
