FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time (FLi) is the second chapter in the fantasy RPG series by Level-5. A fresh title that returns after over 12 years since the first game launched on 3DS back in 2012. Now, we’re heading to the island of Reveria on the continent of Ginormosia for a time-traveling adventure.

With a Life Sim-style RPG, FLi made its debut on May 21, 2025 across all major platforms. It received immediate positive feedback from both original fans and new players who loved the Life Sim experience and the ability to play co-op with friends. FANTASY LIFE i: Level-5 Announces New Details on the ‘Update the World!’ DLC

Following the 1 Million Copies Sold announcement for Fantasy Life i on June 12, 2025, the Level-5 team is bringing new exciting updates. They’re giving a sneak peek of the free DLC ‘Update the World!’ contents arriving soon. Announced just after the milestone as a thank-you to the community

The team revealed the arrival of a Roguelike Open World mode for both veterans and new players alike. This will come with new gear, armor, mounts, and even new hairstyles and emotes. Plus, they teased a new character who will play a key role in the story.

FANTASY LIFE i: Latest Updates

The Level-5 team is continuing to work on improving FLi. The recent Patch 1.3.3 brings some specific fixes for Nintendo NS and NS2, already implemented on other platforms. These include improvements to camera angle options for a better distant view, easier access to Skelegon for flight, and several other farming action improvements.

The team also reminds players to claim their Pegasus Mount from the Guild Office Chest, a reward for hitting the 1 Million Copies Sold milestone. A certain issue arose on some platforms where the Unicorn Mount, exclusive to the Deluxe Edition, was mistakenly distributed in the Hong Kong region. With this patch, Pegasus replaces the Unicorn Mount that was given out by mistake, causing some disappointment among fans.

 

In Conclusion

FLi is shaping up to be one of Level-5’s most successful titles. Offering the highly anticipated new chapter as multi-platform is a major move for the team. Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road will also be multiplatform and launches in August 2025. Meanwhile, the new Professor Layton chapter, with an unconfirmed release date, will remain exclusive to Nintendo.
