Get Early Access: How to Play EA SPORTS FC 26 Today
It’s autumn again and that means for many the annual EA Sports FC 26 grind (formerly FIFA) begins once more. It’s time to build your own team, open packs, earn coins and let your team play in the world’s biggest stadiums.
Whether you prefer Ultimate Team, Career Mode or Clubs – Early Access lets you play everything. With the Ultimate Edition you gain access to Early Access and can start playing a few days before the official release. Everything you need to know is right here.
Early Access Start & Release Dates
Since September 19, EA Sports FC 26 has been available in Early Access if you purchased the Ultimate Edition. The standard release is on September 26, 2025. The game is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC. So you can either wait a few more days or play today with the Ultimate Edition.
Ultimate Edition Content & Bonuses
The first big bonus of this edition is of course 7 days of Early Access. On top of that, for Ultimate Team you get an untradeable 93+ Icon. In the Standard Edition you only get one with 92+. There’s also 6,000 FC Points over 2 months, an extra Pro Evolution slot and the Season 1 Premium Pass. That’s basically it for exclusive content – you do get a few extras for the Pro/Management Career, but those are also included in the Standard Edition.
What to Expect from Early Access
The Early Access for EA Sports FC 26 already includes everything you’ll find at release. You can play all modes (Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Clubs). That means you can already take part in events and earn rewards. Naturally, the Ultimate Team transfer market is open too, so you can already open packs or buy players directly from the market. Unfortunately there are some performance issues with the game, especially input delay is a major problem right now. But if you’re a fan of the series, you can already start building your team today.
