The closed beta is well underway for players who pre-ordered the game, and if you missed this chance, you still have the opportunity to test Diablo 2: Resurrected in the open beta.

When is the Diablo 2: Resurrected Open Beta?

The open beta will be available from Friday, August 20 7PM CEST to Monday, August 23 7PM CEST.

Players can pre-load the beta depending on the platform they will be playing on:

  • PC – Wednesday, August 18
  • Consoles – Tuesday, August 17

Do I need to purchase anything to join the open beta?

There won’t be any purchases necessary to join the open beta. This is also true for console players — no Playstation Plus or Xbox Live subscription required.

What can I access during the Open Beta?

As in previous beta tests, the Diablo 2: Resurrected Open Beta will let you play Act I and Act II. You can play the Barbarian, Amazon, Sorceress, Druid, and Paladin classes. The Druid and Paladin classes are new additions.

There is no news whether progress during the beta will be carried over to the full game when it launches.

Release Date

Diablo 2: Resurrected will be available starting September 23, 2021 for PC, Playstation consoles, Xbox consoles, and Nintendo Switch.
