Dead by Daylight is set to expand its horror universe once again after developer Behaviour Interactive announced a new crossover with AMC’s The Walking Dead.
Behaviour Interactive has officially revealed that its asymmetric horror game, Dead by Daylight, is getting a crossover with The Walking Dead.
AMC’s long-running TV adaptation is finally coming to DbD after years of fan requests. We don’t have any information on what’s coming as part of the collaboration, but DbD’s X account promises a full reveal on July 8, 2025.
What’s Included in the Crossover
Dead by Daylight is one of horror’s iconic video games, and it has dozens of crossovers, most recently with Five Nights at Freddy’s, which added a new killer, map, items, and cosmetics to the game.
While there is official word on what’s coming with the Walking Dead crossover, we could finally see characters such as Rick, Negan, Michonne, and Daryl enter The Fog as playable survivors. At the very least, fans are hoping for new cosmetics and a new map.

When to Expect the Release
Behaviour has promised fans a reveal tomorrow, July 8, 2025. As we have no exact release date, we can only go off the recent Five Nights at Freddy’s DLC crossover, which was announced in August 2024 before launching in June 2025. Hopefully, we don’t have to wait a year for Dead by Daylight x The Walking Dead.
