While this isn’t the first collab between these two iconic games, this is the first time Balatro has entered the Dead by Daylight universe. And they chose THE perfect character to bring into DbD with the Madness Joker. Announced last month, the Unknown Madness is now available in-game for free for all players.
Balatro’s Unknown Madness Live on Dead by Daylight
Back in February last year, Dead by Daylight stepped into Balatro’s twisted deck-building world, with DbD-themed cards appearing in the roguelike hit. It was a clever collaboration that blended horror imagery with Balatro’s chaotic poker mechanics. Now, it’s Balatro’s turn to enter The Fog.
The new cosmetic, officially titled Unknown Madness, gives The Unknown a Madness Joker-inspired headpiece straight out of Balatro’s surreal card lineup. The design captures that unsettling, grinning chaos the Joker embodies (exaggerated, eerie, and just slightly unhinged) which fits The Unknown disturbingly well. Even better, the cosmetic is completely free.
From today until March 20, all Dead by Daylight players can redeem the skin using the code JOKERSWILD via the in-game store. Once claimed, it’s yours to keep. No paywall, no bundle requirement.
