Conan Exiles Sold More Than 1 Million During Early Access!

Funcom’s Conan Exiles sold a huge amount of copies while it was in its Early Access stage. To be exact that is more than 1 million copies and the game was just in that phase for about 15 months.

These huge figures include the Early Access sales for PC and Game Preview sales for Xbox Box One as well as pre-orders that were made.

The game launched yesterday, May 8th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and along with the launch is a major launch update that doubled the game’s size as well as added some new features and mechanics. The launch update brought about a volcano and also some swamp biomes. The Purge mechanic had been introduced as well, this new mechanic makes sure that the bloodthirsty monsters are out to get you at all times.

We can expect to see more of Conan Exiles in the future! Funcom CEO Rui Casais said, “Conan Exiles is already one of the most successful titles in Funcom’s 25-year history” he added that “This has been a great experience for us. When I look at the incredible journey the game has gone through in just 15 months, I feel confident that we’ve been successful in what we set out to do. I’m very proud of the amazing work everyone on the team has done.”
