CloverPit Marks 1 Million Copies Sold With Its Most Requested Hard Mode Update

CloverPit reaches 1 million copies sold in under two months and celebrates with its highly requested Hard Mode update, new UI, and gameplay improvements.

Another indie has hit the jackpot. CloverPit just launched in September and in just under 2 months has already surpassed 1 million copies sold. To celebrate the milestone, Panik Arcade launched its most requested feature yet, Hard Mode.

CloverPit Launches Hard Mode Update

2025 is filled with big game releases, whether new games, sequels, or remasters. It’s definitely not an easy year to launch. But dev team Panik Arcade and publisher Future Friends Games took the bull by the horns and released CloverPit.

Just one month after launch, the game hit 750,000 copies sold, and now, ten days shy of its second month, it has officially crossed the 1 million mark. The team is ecstatic, shocked, and extremely grateful for the reception. To celebrate the milestone, not only is the game still on 10% discount until the 27th, it also launched the Hard Mode update.

CloverPit is a very enjoyable game as it is but Hard Mode adds a new layer of challenge. Basically, you unlock this after winning your first run with a special memory card. It lets you replay that run with the deadline doubled, and if you manage to win again, you earn a special reward. According to the team, it’s the most requested feature yet.

Alongside it, some small bug fixes, updated UI, and balance adjustments were deployed. The full patch notes can be seen here.

While it’s still not the same level as Balatro, it does give off the same vibe. It’s nice to see indie games still get a seat at the table, unbothered and thriving, even with a crowded release calendar.

CloverPit officially launched on September 27, 2025 for PC via Steam. A public demo is still available for download.
