The planet Astrid is dying, resources become scarce, and as you expand your frontiers, you'll encounter hostile creatures and robots that are useful but demanding to use. There's a real identity to this game, something authentic and enjoyable, but in a hostile environment that you'll want to leave behind.
SteamWorld Build is an upcoming city building game where you have to dig deep to expand your base and find ancient technology. Keep your steambots happy by meeting their needs, defend your mines against the creatures that lie deep below and expand your town to increase your population. There will be five maps to explore as well as four difficulty levels to suit players' different needs.
SteamWorld Build is a cute city management game where we have to build a city for our robots using steam powered buildings and machines, and to get that power we will need to mine under the city, here comes the other part of the game, recruiting workers, improving tools, exploring deeper and defending the mine, a bit of tower defense from little underground mobs. The combination of both modes seems to be very fun and the graphics are super cute, a very interesting take in the genre.

This beautiful building and management game allows you to construct the settlement on the surface while exploring the mines underground. SteamWorld Build is remarkable because you'll need to make happy your folks, which are not people or creatures, they are bots! I'm pretty curious to try the game with such concept.
