Coming this December, right on the 1st of the month is SteamWorld Build, after well over 4 years after developer's The Station 1st title, making it the very 2nd title of the team. Taking place in distant planet, which is slowly dying, we'll have to manage the small city of Homestead, a city inhabited by handy bots. The robots will be our main force, being able to gather the necessary resources to keep the city afloat, but something is hidden underground and it's slowly making it's way out
Set in the environment inspired by Old West, this game offers another take on city building and management genre. In SteamWorld Build we'll establish our colony of robots, dig the mine to uncover the hidden technologies and manage our settlement. The graphics look great and the plot is fun, so my hoipes are high for this title!
Developed by Thunderful, SteamWorld Build takes us back to the world we've already explored in several games (notably 2 metroidvania), cartoony and hostile as we build and manage a city in an arid, post-apocalyptic environment. We expand and discover resources and robots that are very useful, but also present constraints. The aim is to evolve technologically and leave the planet Astrid.
