RAD is a 3D action rogue-like game that was published by BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment and developed by Double Fine Productions for the Xbox One. The gameplay takes place in a post-post-apocalyptic world, that has just experienced a second armageddon. In the game, you play as a teenage protagonist named Rad who must venture into an ever-changing, radioactive wasteland known as the Fallow. The radioactive waste has birthed unknown and unspeakable creatures with which Rad must contend if he is to be successful in saving humanity. The deeper you venture into the unknown lands, the greater the effect of the toxins therein. The fate of the world is in your hands. Become a hero by employing your trusty bat, and all the strange new abilities you acquire from overexposure to said toxins.
