About this game

Dying Light, The Following is a continuation of Kyle Crane’s story taking place in a vast new area outside of Harran, an open rural countryside brimming with mysterious characters, deadly new weapons, and a new vehicle the highly customizable dirt buggy. Gain the trust of the locals and learn about the secrets of a cult that is seemingly immune to the virus that has ravaged Harran.

• Explore a new region that is larger than all the base game maps combined, new areas, locations, quests, and characters.
• Dirt buggy: A new means of getting around the larger and open map it has its own separate skill tree, weapons, upgrades, and over 40+ different paint cosmetics to customize the car, but don’t forget you need to find fuel to drive it.
• The progression systems for the quests in “the following” are nonlinear meaning you can fully explore the map without worrying about how it affects the story.

I GREATLY enjoyed the new Following DLC and the overall enhanced edition was fun to go back to. If you’re a fan of Dying Light or just greatly enjoyed the main game, it’s definitely worth it to try out this new DLC. The Following clocks in at about 6-8 hours for the story missions and I still haven’t completed all the extra side quests yet or found many of the extra blueprints or collectibles hidden in the environment.

Enhanced Edition

The enhanced edition brings new features to the base game and DLC’s.

• New difficulty Nightmare mode which increases the duration of the night and increases the health and damage of all enemies.
• Bounty system which introduces new quest types basic, dallies, and community.
• The new legend levels unlockable once you maxed out 1 of the 3 skill trees, gives you stat boosts, additional skins, and new gold tier weapons.
