Armed Emeth is a turn-based retro JRPG developed by Japanese developers Hit-Point Co. Originally released on mobile It’s a loose sequel to Hit-Point’s previous title rusted Emeth both games are inspired by the style of actual retro JRPG’s like final fantasy, Chrono Trigger, Suikoden, etc. Many years ago, the Dernier empire once ruled these lands its borders existed from one edge of the continent to another, they ruled with an iron fist using weapons like golems animated by unknown energy called Edea, now the empire is gone all that’s left are loosely connected towns surviving on their own. You play as a boy named Valles you meet one of these golems a sentient named Lock, partnering up with it you hope to make it in the world by taking bounties.
Armed Emeth is the kind of RPG that you’ll start playing and not realize how much time has passed considering how consistently rewarding and enjoyable it is. Its battle system may not be all that thrilling but everything else is spot-on for retro RPG fun.
