Aliens Dark Descent is a squad-based real-time strategy game taking place in the iconic Alien universe developed by Tindalos Interactive, lead your squad of hardened colonial marines to stop a terrifying xenomorph outbreak, the rogue operatives from the insatiable Weyland-Yutani Corporation, and a host of other horrifying creatures on the Moon of Lethe. Aliens Dark Descent is a real-time action-infiltration game where you control a squad and the aliens are your worst nightmare! In isometric 3D, the game has a successful visual identity, very dark and eerie. However, the developers have added the option of slowing down the time to 70%, so that you can perform specific actions to gain an advantage… if you’re a good strategist. The game is indeed tactically demanding.
Aliens Dark Descent is a real time strategy game where you control a group of colonial marines and try to control a Xenomorph outbreak in a colonized planet. From a central hub, you can choose your squad members, upgrade them and their weapons, and choose what missions you want to execute. The levels where the missions take place aren’t static so if you create shortcuts and safe spaces they will still be there if you revisit that scenario in another mission. The aliens tend to ambush you or rush in waves so, having motion trackers as well as maintaining the squad healthy is very important in order to succeed. The atmosphere in this game looks terrific and despite some reported bugs the game seems to have been received very well by the players
Aliens DD brings a diferent take on the Aliens movie setting, we are on a planet infested with aliens, yes, but this time we control a whole squad of marines, with every one of them being customizable and having his/her own skills and AI. Combats are real time but with the possibility to slow down time to give specific orders in crucial moments. It is important to choose the skills and behaviour of each member of the squad carefully since they will act on their own when facing danger. A part of their health we also have to take care of their mental health, too much tension, tireness and fear may cause breakdowns, and if they die we have to replace them with new recruits, so it is better to keep rotating them while the others take a rest between missions. The world is persistent, so open doors, placed traps, loot not taken will still be there later in future missions, and yes, some missions will take you back to explore again locations to get to new places not possible before. The ultimate objective is to survive and be able to leave the planet, and discover some hidden secrets while doing it.

The game is dynamic and challenging, as you need to select appropriate classes, upgrade your soldiers and have enough resources to win the fight.
