Battlefield 6 players looking for a more casual game mode, while still earning XP and completing challenges, can now jump into Casual Breakthrough, a less stressful environment for players to earn progression.

Casual Breakthrough is a new mode designed for those who want a more relaxed experience in EA’s new FPS. The mode fills matches with 16 players and 32 bots, which is 8v16 per side.
While intended to give players a break from intense PvP matches, the mode also allows players to progress their career, weapon, and battle pass XP, and complete challenges.
8 Players vs. 16 Bots
The core feature of Casual Breakthrough is its reduced player count, which sees two teams of 50 lineup with 8 players and 16 bots per side. Despite reducing the number of real players, the inclusion of bots filling the teams means the mode will retain the large-scale feel of Battlefield 6.
Clarifying how the mode works on X, the developers revealed that the maps included are Siege of Cairo and Empire State. Players can earn progress on their career, weapon, and battle pass XP while also completing challenges. Killing players will reward full XP, while killing bots will reduce the XP awarded.

Oh, I remember doing that on Chivalry games, you set a game with bots, still earn XP and can easily unlock achievements, eheheh. It is good they added this relaxed mode, some players value more to have fun and the extreme competitiveness is stressful.
