Mycopunk is a co-op mission shooter from the team at Pigeons at Play. The game published by Devolver Digital is the debut title from the small development team. With the reveal of the game in late April 2025 by Devolver. It’s a colorful shooter that takes us to the world of New Atlas.
Where we will play as robots from the Hazard Crew on behalf of SAXON Corp. We’ll have to cleanse the planet from a mysterious and deadly fungal infestation. Mycopunk – Release Date and Updated Demo Announced
Following the Mycopunk reveal along with the game demo, the Pigeons at Play team brings some important news. Confirming the release date of their co-op mission shooter. With a launch planned for July 10, 2025, in Early Access on Steam.
The announcement comes with a new trailer showing the game in action. Also confirming the arrival of the final demo update. With a new area, a better new weapon, and of course, some new challenges. The team is gearing up for Early Access next month.
Mycopunk: Latest Updates Available in the New Demo
After the game’s debut, following around 2 years of development, originally starting as a school project. With the new Desert Update of the Demo bringing some fantastic new features, offering:
- Desert Area: A new area with fresh missions.
- Rocket Lasso: Improvements to the weapon added in mid-May, with a more precise hook system and intuitive controls.
- Upgrades and Fixes: More accurate description of the Immolator, which now gives infinite ammo when active. Fixed some missing texts and bugs caused by loading Redacted Missions.
The team invites you to try the Updated Demo ahead of the Early Access launch on July 10, 2025. With more information and updates the team can’t wait to show.
