Crimson Desert Launch Times Revealed with Preload Starting Two Days Before  

After waiting for years for Pearl Abyss’ Crimson Desert to launch, we’re on our final stretch as the one week countdown has officially started. While the past headline shocked many fans with the Denuvo inclusion, it’s something we can’t do anything about and so we might as well just look forward and prepare for the launch.

 

Crimson Desert Launch Times and Preload Dates Announced

Pearl Abyss is getting everyone ready for the official launch of Crimson Desert. The game will release on March 19, 2026 for PC, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It is available in both digital and physical form.

For those waiting to get in the moment it unlocks, preloading is confirmed on all platforms. It will start 2 days before the launch date, so that’s March 17 at 3PM PT / 6PM ET / 10PM GMT. The times reflect the release day’s too.

Since preloading has not started yet, the actual download size is still unknown. However, an earlier leak showed a 115.9GB for PC, which many people doubted considering how big the world is. So take this with a grain of salt for now.

However, the console version seems to be more promising as to the actual size. Well at least for Playstation 5 but it shouldn’t be that far off for Xbox. As reported by Bloody_Roar3 on X, he has started installing his PS5 copy via a physical disc and showed that the disc itself holds 77.03GB and a download update of 48.24GB.

So no, it’s not a 2-pc disc that holds the entire game and players will need an internet connection to fully install it. This wasn’t a surprise though since the box did have this notice. This will also be the case for future updates.
