About this game

You are the clan chief of Midgard and you must lead the charge to destroy the creatures of the Fimbulwinter. Your village may have been destroyed but you must save what is left and not succumb to complete annihilation.

• You are from the Ulfung clan – the Wolves of Midgard. Choose play as a Viking warrior or a shieldmaiden.
• Travel through the cold lands of the Niflheim or the hot Balheim.
• Pay tribute to the gods using blood from your fallen enemies and receive rewards.
• When pushed to a corner use your Rage Mode to overwhelm your enemies.
• Use power-infused amulets to make the abilities of the gods your own.
• You can play alone or team up with a friend in coop.

The Viking setting and Norse mythological themes make for a perfectly interesting alternative to Diablo’s standard holy-warriors-versus-demons setting.

Viking: Wolves of Midgard is a solid clone of the genre, but ultimately feels half-baked. The asking price feels a bit too steep when compared to other games, but I did have a good time playing co-op. I just wish there was more, and it was more polished.
