Take on the role of a train driver and master the tracks across many iconic cities and routes. You can customize trains, drive them and even work as a guard, checking tickets and closing doors. This game is definitely not for me but I can see it as a relaxing experience, relaxing in the cabins and enjoying the view of the cities and countrysides.
Train fans can rejoice because they have a new entry in the Train Sim World saga, the 5th. New graphics, new options, new ways to create your dream train and drive it for the many tracks available. A Good thing is that the many DLCs the previous entry has are available for this one, so you don’t have to buy the new tracks again, that is a great move, because the game has 104 DLCs… Ok, I guess if you don’t have room to have a model set at your home this is the closest option available.
Train Sim World 5 has a lot going for it: it's a train sim with authentic routes and locomotives, famous main lines, gorgeous scenery and lots of detail. However, there are still a lot of overpriced DLC packs, which together cost more than the base game even before its release. However, you can still get all the content from previous TSW games, which is cool if you've played them.
Dovetail Games is not new to simulations, and the upcoming Train Sim World 5 looks like another great work of the studio. I'm impressed by graphics and locations; not to speak about the realistic driving. The only downside for me is the price. I find the game to be way too expensive, with the standart edition containing only 3 new routes compared to a free starter pack. Otherwise, it looks like a solid train simulator.
