This is amazing. It’s Lucasarts finest point & click adventure game remastered. I got the bundle edition because it was only a few p extra . This gives you both Monkey Island 1 & 2 Remastered versions. Some say they prefer the 1990s pixelated graphics but I like both. The remastered mode looks really nice on 1080p for your living room TV whilst you couch game away at nostalgic material. This game is best played with a controller and fits perfectly in a casual friends living room setting. The music has been re-re-orchestrated and the voice acting is spot on. The lines & animation is still by far the funniest out of adventure games back then. The game’s graphics can be toggled to old & new with a single button and it transits seaminglessly. What I love is the immersion and feel as this game takes you back to the 1990s. The joyous monents of solving puzzles and figuring out illogical obstacles. The story, the characters, the art, the voices are all memorable in this golden age game.
This game is special. I remember the time I saw the good old version in the past. I was really enjoying playing it. The new remastered special version comes with option to switch the game to old version, so everyone can compare how great old one was. The humour in the game is awesome. If someone hasn’t played it, I totally recommend it. 10/10 game!
